Naked Fiction is a San Francisco based band made up of diverse musicians. Together they perform music that can be described as sexy, jazzy, indie, chamber-pop, with a twist of James Bond.

Carmen King, an experienced Jazz singer, fronts the ensemble. Accompanying Carmen are bowed strings made up of: Violins, Viola, and Double Bass. Together the strings play harmonies not normally experienced in popular music, drawing from Jazz, Romantic, and Impressionistic music that compliment the inventive melodic vocals.

“The band is absolutely brilliant. They’re jazzy and their string section that may cause an outburst of joyful sobbing.” - SF Gate, “Off The Record”

“…the sort of sensual, mysterious music you’d expect to hear in the tango halls of Buenos Aires or smoky jazz-clubs in Chicago in the 1920s or 1930s.” - Turntable Kitchen
